TCA peel

Some peels work slightly more superficially than others, so depending on the desired result, the specialist will determine the desired depth.

Very superficial = (superficial stratum corneum) Increases the uniformity of skin tone and provides a more "luminous" appearance. Will only benefit the éclat. Superficial = (epidermal to basal layer) Stimulates epidermal growth by removing the stratum corneum. This peel will cause skin peeling, similar to if you had a sunburn. From this depth we speak of the medical peels: Medium (papillary dermis) Affecting the papillary dermis, which can cause significant flaking. One gets superficial dermal inflammation. The epidermis will also be completely removed with this peel and thanks to the inflammatory reaction of the papillary dermis, one will regain a firmer dermis in the healing phase. Deep (reticular dermis) Deep chemical exfoliation leads to an inflammatory reaction of the reticular dermis, and this causes production of collagen and elastin.

Depending on the depth of the peel, we recommend a maximum of 3 peels per year. At Sarasin Clinic we only work with the medical peels (they have a low PH value) so it is not allowed to use them too much. We therefore also do not allow more than 3 medical peels per year. Of course, it remains important to continue to stimulate the skin to divide and produce collagen and elastin. Once this stimulation is lost, the result will again visibly diminish. Our Sarasin Portocol will ensure that we permanently stimulate the skin! There is the possibility to do peels on the one hand and on the other hand to stimulate the skin permanently on its own by Microneedling + RF.

Each Mesopeel has been given a drug and medical device registration number (AEMPS) by the Spanish agency All peels of the Mesopeel pharmacy group comply with European standards. They have ISO 22716:2007, 9001:2008 and 13485:2012 for quality control management systems.

At least 2 weeks between treatments / If using Roaccutane or skin-thinning medication, no treatment should be done / For men, it is recommended not to shave within 24 hours of treatment / Treatment is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding / We recommend not doing a peel on sun-tanned skin (min. 4 weeks between)

Inflammations, infections (such as active acne or active herpes) / Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus / Immunological disorders, impaired immune system / Cancer / Keloid formation / Renal, respiratory, hepatic or cardiac insufficiency / Fresh scars or wounds / Hypertrophic scars / A history of radiatherapy treatments in the face / Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the peel / Pregnancy or breastfeeding / Damaged skin, recent waxing, use of depilatory cream / After using isotretinoin (Roaccutane), peeling can be done after six months / After using Tretinoin (Vitamin A acid), glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, the permeability of the skin may be increased

Day 1: Your skin feels dry but little is visible yet / Day 2: Your skin feels dry and tight. Dark spots may be visible in places where you first had pigment / Day 3: The skin begins to peel. First around your mouth and from there it continues. Any spots also disappear. Keep in mind that shedding will usually take 2-3 days. After that, there are often some remaining peels around your nose and hairline. / With heavier peels, peeling is necessary and inevitable while with lighter peels, your skin will only peel minimally.

Your skin is fragile and prone to pigment reappearance after peeling. Therefore, it is important that you strictly adhere to the "Post Peel Care.
