How does a BTX Jelly Roll treatment work?

BTX Jelly Roll is a cosmetic treatment in which small amounts of BTX are injected into the muscle around the eyes. BTX works by blocking the nerve signals that tighten and contract the muscles around the eyes, causing the muscles to relax and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

In the treatment of eye wrinkles, a thin needle is usually used to inject BTX. The treatment takes only a few minutes and is generally not painful. After treatment, you may experience slight swelling, redness or bruising, but these side effects usually disappear within a few days.

How does the treatment proceed?

This is a relatively short procedure that takes no more than 10 - 15 minutes. We briefly go over the process with you:

  • You discuss with the doctor your expectations
  • Together with the doctor, you determine the treatment that is best for you
  • Photographs of the treated area are taken beforehand
  • The doctor disinfects the area being treated
  • We inject the BTX using a thin sterilized needle
  • After treatment, you can resume daily activities
  • The results will also be immediately apparent when you compare the before and after photos

There is no downtime so after treatment you can simply resume your daily activities.

What result can I expect?

  • You will notice the first results within 3-5 days, but they are small compared to the effective result that is visible only after 10 - 14 days.

How long does the effect of muscle relaxants or wrinkle injections last?

After 2-8 days, wrinkles begin to diminish. After 4 weeks, the maximum effect is achieved. From 6-8 weeks, the result is maintained. After 8 weeks, the effect begins to slowly diminish.
