What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a biostimulator composed of calcium and phosphate ions, which are natural minerals also found in teeth and bones. The minerals in Radiesse stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin, but also cause existing collagen to break down more slowly.
Thanks to collagen, our skin looks young and healthy. As we age, we produce less collagen. During the natural aging process, the body's own collagen is gradually broken down. This results in loss of elasticity causing wrinkles, lines and sagging skin. Radiesse is a versatile biostimulator that can be used not only as a filler, but also stimulates our skin to produce collagen and elastin.

How does the treatment proceed?

Sometimes multiple sessions are also needed:
- If you are under 40 years old and have a good response, then you should come back for another treatment only after 12 - 18 months. If you are older than 40 or the response is moderate then it is best to come back after 4 months for a second session. Then you come back after 12 - 18 months for a new treatment.
Aftercare at Radiesse
- Avoid sunlight and excessive heat for the first 24 hours after treatment.
- You should also not exercise for 24 hours after Radiesse treatment.
