Treatment of crow's feet
The most superior treatment for crow's feet are anti-wrinkle injections with Botox or Allergan. Both of these are brand names for botulinum toxin (= muscle relaxants).
Crow's feet can also be treated with HIFU, however, the result with injections is many times more efficient and powerful.
Course of treatment crow's feet
- A small injection with a very fine needle is performed on the outside of the eye muscle where the lines are located when smiling.
- 2-7 injections are given on each side.

The study
The doctor will examine the face and crow's feet before the injection of eye wrinkles, in particular they will look at many facial features such as:
- where the lines are
- Whether there is eyelid sagging or asymmetry
- How much the crow's feet protrude along the side of the cheek and under the eyes
Choosing the best dose of injection for eye wrinkles
The doctor will assess the face and decide on the best dose, after taking a history and examining the patient. If the patient has a history of poor longevity, or needs high doses, or wants maximum effect, a higher dose may be suggested.
If a patient has a history of complications with muscle relaxant injections, or if they want a more subtle result, a smaller dose may be chosen.
Pre- and aftercare treatment
After crow's feet injections, you should follow the following instructions:
- Do not wear makeup for 4 hours
- No massage that day
- Don't do heavy exercise that day
- Not lying down for 4 hours
- Stop your acidic products for 24 hours
