Why do I have large inner labia?
There are several reasons why the inner labia or labia minora can grow larger than the outer labia or labia majora. Here we talk briefly about the most common reasons why these large labia can develop.
Aging and hormones
During puberty, the thin folds of skin called the labia become larger because of the production of estrogen. This remains true until you go through menopause. In fact, during your menopause, the production of estrogen decreases in every woman, which can cause the labia decrease in volume. This phenomenon is also known as atrophy. This can cause unpleasant symptoms and physical complaints, such as pain and irritation, but also for uncertainty about the appearance of your vagina.
Naturally smaller outer labia
Of course, it is also possible that you were born with smaller outer labia. As we have already mentioned, there are a lot of different shapes of vaginas, and there are also a lot of differences when it comes to the size of the lips. The solution: the vagina filler

Vagina fillers: what is that?

What to expect.
To restore the volume of the labia, the filler is injected into the labia majora. This is done after you receive a small puncture with some local anesthetic. This way, you definitely won't feel any pain.
After injecting the filler, the treated area is massaged and you will be informed of proper aftercare. The number of injections of filler used depends from person to person. The results of this treatment last on average two years on average.
Aftercare
- It is important that you apply proper aftercare after using fillers. This means that you should not have sexual intercourse for five days after treatment, nor should you bathe or take a sauna.
- Cycling is also best avoided for five days.
- After a month, you come for another checkup to see how the results are progressing.
