Hoe verloopt een PRP behandeling?

A blood sample is taken from the patient. The sample is then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifugation process is used to separate the red blood cells from the white blood cells, leaving behind the "liquid gold," or PRP, which contains the higher concentrations of growth factors.
The doctor collects the PRP and then re-injects it into the areas where the patient desires hair improvement.

Note: We strongly recommend taking an immune booster before starting treatment. (at least 1 month in advance)

How often should I repeat a PRP treatment?

With skin improvement, it depends on the skin quality at the beginning of the treatment. Sometimes you only need 1-2 sessions to get the desired results. We generally recommend 3 PRP treatments with an interval of 4 weeks. You then get the last treatment at the reduced price of € 250. Also for hair loss we recommend 3 sessions with an interval of 4 weeks.

How long does the aftercare of a PRP treatment last?

Immediately after surgery, you will be given a pair of supportive Lipo pantyhose that you must never take off for six weeks. Only when changing dressings or washing should you take off your Lipo pantyhose. Bruising usually disappears after a few days, but complete healing may take several weeks. The final result can only be seen after a few months. An absorbent bandage is applied to the "input" site. There will be a little wound fluid from the liposuction fluid that was inserted here for the first few days. This is completely normal. The "mini-input" site was also closed by the surgeon with a digestible thread that you don't have to do anything about. With PRP treatment, you don't have a long aftercare at all. After treatment, you will have small superficial wounds, but you can simply resume your work. Your skin will still feel a little tight in the first few days, but this does not last long.
