Is PRP treatment painful?

Because PRP must be injected, the treatment can cause local pain. So it is not pleasant, but the pain is only short-lived.

How much does a PRP treatment cost?

If you want skin improvement for the entire face, you pay €350 for 1 session. If you also want skin improvement in the neck, €100 is added. A PRP treatment for hair loss costs € 350 per session.

How often should I repeat a PRP treatment?

With skin improvement, it depends on the skin quality at the beginning of the treatment. Sometimes you only need 1-2 sessions to get the desired results. We generally recommend 3 PRP treatments with an interval of 4 weeks. You then get the last treatment at the reduced price of € 250. Also for hair loss we recommend 3 sessions with an interval of 4 weeks.

How long does the aftercare of a PRP treatment last?

Immediately after surgery, you will be given a pair of supportive Lipo pantyhose that you must never take off for six weeks. Only when changing dressings or washing should you take off your Lipo pantyhose. Bruising usually disappears after a few days, but complete healing may take several weeks. The final result can only be seen after a few months. An absorbent bandage is applied to the "input" site. There will be a little wound fluid from the liposuction fluid that was inserted here for the first few days. This is completely normal. The "mini-input" site was also closed by the surgeon with a digestible thread that you don't have to do anything about. With PRP treatment, you don't have a long aftercare at all. After treatment, you will have small superficial wounds, but you can simply resume your work. Your skin will still feel a little tight in the first few days, but this does not last long.

Is PRP treatment dangerous?

As with all medical procedures, there are risks involved. The most common is swelling at the injection sites. This disappears after only 3 hours. Because you are working with the body's own substances, the chance of an allergic reaction is extremely low. There are no foreign, chemical substances in the syringe, just your own blood!

What can I expect from a hair filler treatment?

Before treatment, our Sarasin Clinic doctor will analyze your scalp and hair and work with you to create a treatment plan to help achieve the desired results. Clinical research shows that hair filler treatment produces visibly good results at 4 sessions at 2-week intervals. Your doctor will be happy to advise you on the amount and frequency of treatment needed. During treatment, your doctor will use a very fine needle to administer multiple injections to the chosen area(s) on your scalp. To reduce any uncomfortable feeling during the treatment, you could ask your doctor about the application of a numbing gel beforehand. Patients are additionally recommended to use Pelo Baum Hair Revitalizing Solution daily during and after the Hair Filler treatment to maintain long-term results.

What are the risks and complications with a hair filler?

A hair filler treatment at Sarasin Clinic is a very safe procedure. Complications are limited to some redness and mild skin irritation immediately after injection. These often disappear within 72 hours.

What is the result of a hair filler?

Already after the first treatment session with the Hair Filler, your hair loss process stops!
